Avocado Cilantro Sauce

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water (or more, as needed)

Method

    Instructions:
    Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a blender or food processor.
    Add the Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper to the blender.
    Blend the ingredients together until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water until you reach your desired consistency.
    Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more lime juice or salt if desired.
    Serve the sauce immediately or store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
